1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files placed on your device. Similar technologies, including local browser storage, can remember settings or identify a browser. UK rules generally require consent before non-essential storage or access technology is used.
2. What this site uses
3. Advertising choice
The AdSense library is configured to pause ad requests on arrival and to request non-personalised ads only. If you reject optional cookies, ad requests remain paused. If you allow them, Google may use cookies for the limited purposes described above. Non-personalised does not mean no data is processed: contextual selection, coarse location, measurement, security and fraud-prevention signals may still be used.
The two choices are offered at the same level, and you can change your decision at any time.
4. Other controls
You can delete site data in your browser settings. Deleting it will cause the choice panel to appear again. Blocking all cookies may affect necessary website functions. Google also provides advertising controls and explains how AdSense uses cookies.
5. Changes
We review this policy when technology or advertising settings change. The revision date at the top shows when it was last updated.
