1. About this notice
In this notice, “GoTo URL”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to gotourl.co.uk. This notice explains the limited personal information processed when someone visits or interacts with the site.
2. Information processed
When you visit, hosting and security systems may process your IP address, browser and device information, requested URL, referring page, date and time, and diagnostic or security events. This is ordinary technical data needed to deliver and protect a public website.
Your advertising-cookie choice is stored in your browser. If you allow advertising cookies, Google may process online identifiers, cookie data, IP address, approximate location, browser or device information, ad impressions, clicks and interaction data. We do not receive information that directly identifies you from AdSense reports.
If you email us, we process your name, email address, message and any information you choose to include.
3. Purposes and lawful bases
4. Who receives data
Technical data may be processed by suppliers used to host, deliver and secure the site, including OpenAI's Sites service and its underlying infrastructure providers. Google receives data from this site only after optional advertising technology is permitted.
We may also disclose information where required by law, to professional advisers, or in connection with a business reorganisation. We do not sell personal information.
5. International transfers
Some suppliers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where UK data protection law requires safeguards, the relevant supplier is expected to rely on an adequacy decision, approved contractual protections such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or another lawful transfer mechanism. See the supplier privacy notices linked below for their current arrangements.
6. Retention
Your cookie preference is kept in your browser for up to 180 days, unless you clear it sooner. Hosting and security logs are retained according to the relevant provider's operational and security schedules. Correspondence is kept only as long as needed to answer it, comply with legal duties and manage any related claim.
7. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct or erase your personal information; restrict or object to processing; receive portable data; and withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out lawfully.
Your right to object: where we rely on legitimate interests, you may object to that processing. We will stop unless we have compelling legitimate grounds or need the information for legal claims.
You can withdraw advertising consent at any time using “Cookie settings” in the footer. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to address your concern first.
